Have you ever heard of Aesop’s classic fables, such as “The Tortoise and the Hare” or “The Ant and the Grasshopper”? At the KB-TK Kristen Calvin Art Appreciation Show, these timeless stories were brought to life with a fresh and imaginative touch.
Through the Art Appreciation Show held on April 17, students were given the opportunity to express themselves through their creative works and performances. Along the way, they learned the values of courage, creativity, and hard work, with the full support of their parents and teachers, who faithfully accompanied them every step of the way.
The event was filled with beautiful choir performances and joyful song-and-movement presentations, along with the MC role performed by the students of Calvin Christian Kindergarten themselves. A simple yet meaningful performance, filled with joy and precious moments. The event concluded with an art exhibition, which students and parents were invited to enjoy together.
The event also featured a short drama inspired by one of Aesop’s fables, brought to life with creativity and imagination.
The students did more than simply perform a short drama they developed and reimagined the story through their own creativity. What if the Hare kept running without letting his guard down? What if the Grasshopper had made a different decision? These questions opened up new perspectives that were both intriguing and meaningful.
