From April 28–30, 2025, the sixth-grade students of Sekolah Kristen Calvin took part in a retreat combined with their farewell event at Villa Myko, Cisarua. Carrying the theme “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth” (Ecclesiastes 12:1a), the program was designed to help students set their hearts on continually depending on and trusting in God as they journey through their youth.
Across six sessions, students were guided to reflect on the meaning of life, grow in their faith, and learn to become responsible individuals who make a positive impact and glorify God. Personal reflection activities and a film discussion deepened their understanding of compassion and the importance of genuine character transformation.
To close the retreat, students enjoyed a visit to Cibodas Botanical Gardens—taking in the beauty of God’s creation and breathing in the fresh mountain air, an experience that refreshed both body and soul.
