Amid the rapid advancement of technology, AI is increasingly present as a “companion” that helps meet various daily needs. This raises an important question: can AI truly replace the intimacy of human relationships? 🤔
This very question was critically explored by Tesla Falah Trajan Kusuma (Grade X-2) and Nathania Audrey Marpaung (Grade X-3) in their academic paper titled “The Rise of Artificial Companionship: Can AI Replace Human Intimacy in a Lonely Society?”.
They examined the rising levels of loneliness in the post-pandemic era and how some people have begun seeking relationships through AI chatbot companionship. 💬🤖
Their paper earned 2nd Winner at the Academic Conference – National English Olympics (NEO) 2025. 🥈🎉
A truly outstanding and proud achievement!
Congratulations, Tesla & Nathania! 👏👏
Keep thinking critically, creating with integrity, and making an impact for the nation and for the glory of God 🙏✨
