In the spirit of celebrating the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, KB-TK Kristen Calvin joined in the festivities through a variety of joyful activities to commemorate this special occasion. 🇮🇩✨
The children took part in the Red and White Flag Ceremony, learned about the colors and meaning of the Indonesian flag, and enjoyed a variety of traditional Independence Day games, such as tug-of-war, watermelon-eating, and rubber-band relay races 🎉
More than just a celebration, this moment provided an opportunity for the children to discover and develop their identity as Indonesian citizens, while learning to appreciate the sacrifices of the heroes who fought for the independence of our nation.
May the children learn from an early age to live with gratitude, appreciate the sacrifices of those who came before them, and love the nation of Indonesia in simple and joyful ways.
