In celebration of National Batik Day, students at KB–TK Kristen Calvin wore batik outfits featuring a beautiful variety of colors and patterns.
The TK-B students also explored batik patterns through a fun and creative activity. They made their own kawung-patterned batik bags using paint, which they were able to take home as a keepsake of their work.
Through these activities, students were encouraged to learn about and appreciate batik as one of Indonesia’s cultural heritages. May their love for Indonesian culture continue to grow from an early age, inspiring them to value and help preserve the richness of Indonesia’s cultural heritage.
