On October 31, the KB–TK and Elementary students of Calvin Christian School collaborated with the Indonesian Bible Society (LAI)—the institution responsible for producing and distributing the Bible throughout Indonesia.
In this Reformation Day celebration, students were introduced to how the Bible is made available in various local languages across the archipelago. They had the opportunity to see Bibles in Toraja, Javanese, and Karo languages, as well as handwritten Bibles and Braille editions
In addition, the elementary students listened to the inspiring story of “Mary Jones and Her Bible,” which nurtured gratitude and love for God’s Word.
The KB–TK students also took part in the “Bible for My Friend” program by collecting savings to help distribute Bibles to children in various regions of Indonesia. 💛
We are grateful to be a small part of spreading God’s Word in our nation, and we give thanks for His grace that allows people to read the Bible in a language they can understand.
Thank you for the visit, LAI! 🌿
