Field trips provide students with opportunities to learn directly from the world around them. On Thursday, September 24, 2026, Phase B students of SD Kristen Calvin visited Samudra Ancol to learn more about various animals, particularly marine mammals.
During the visit, students enjoyed a variety of engaging experiences. They learned about penguin life through an educational session, watched a mermaid show, and observed sea lions, dolphins, and various bird species during live animal presentations.
Through these activities, students not only enjoyed a memorable experience but also learned to observe animal behavior, understand their lives, and recognize the importance of protecting the environment that provides a habitat for diverse living creatures.
May this experience nurture students’ curiosity and care for animals and their surroundings, while deepening their appreciation for the beauty and diversity of God’s creation. 🌿
