On Thursday, October 30, 2025, Grade VII students took part in an educational visit to the Bogor Botanical Gardens. Under the guidance of Mr. Andra, Ms. Mesa, Mr. Judika, Ms. Christine, Mr. Yohansen, along with tour guides, the students learned firsthand about the diversity of plants and animals.
They explored the Zoological Museum, the largest fauna museum in Southeast Asia, which has been established since 1894. A total of 58 students (with two students unable to attend due to illness) also visited the Nepenthes Garden, where various types of pitcher plantsโcarnivorous plants that feed on insects and small animalsโare cultivated and studied.
In addition, the students directly observed the differences between dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous plants in the gardens throughout the area.
The activity concluded with a joyful time of togetherness. The students chatted, played ball, and rode bicycles before returning to school with new experiences and insights. ๐ดโโ๏ธ๐ฑโจ
