On October 30, 2025, Grade VIII students of Calvin Christian Junior High School took part in an educational visit to three historical sites: the LAI Museum, Jakarta Cathedral, and Istiqlal Mosque. This educational trip aimed to introduce students to the uniqueness and religious diversity of Indonesia.
At the LAI Museum, students learned about the history of the Bible, viewed important artifacts, and gained an understanding of the long journey of the Bible’s writing and translation. The journey then continued to Jakarta Cathedral and Istiqlal Mosque—two iconic buildings standing side by side as symbols of tolerance. There, students explored the magnificent architecture of both places of worship, which are part of Indonesia’s cultural heritage.
Through this experience, we hope students will grow in openness, appreciate diversity, and develop a spirit of tolerance in their lives as citizens of Indonesia. 🇮🇩✨
