Throughout the semester, the students of SD Kristen Calvin learned and grew through creative music and dance lessons. With enthusiasm and joy, they performed a variety of traditional Indonesian songs, such as Kicir-Kicir, Si Patokaan, and Cublak-Cublak Suweng, as well as international songs such as Sur le Pont d’Avignon from France and music from various other countries, accompanied by dance movements they created themselves.
At the end of the semester, all these performances were presented to the parents as a reflection of the students’ hard work, courage, and creativity throughout their learning journey.
Through this process, the students not only learned to appreciate the rich cultural heritage of different regions and nations, but also learned to express themselves, work together, and appreciate the beauty of the arts that God has graciously bestowed upon them.
