From July 8–10, 2026, SMA Kristen Calvin held the School Orientation Program (MPLS) for new Grade 10 students as an initial step in preparing them to become part of the learning community at Calvin Christian High School.
Over the course of three days, the students took part in various activities, beginning with a worship service as a reminder to always remain centered on God and depend on Him.
They were introduced to their teachers, school regulations, and curriculum, and learned about the Christian Worldview as the foundation of learning at Sekolah Kristen Calvin. The students also took part in a Christian perspective on sex education, engaged in discussions with senior students about life in high school, and built new relationships with their classmates.
As part of their preparation for learning, the students took part in sessions on note-taking, reading, and annotation techniques. They were also given a tour of the school to become familiar with its various facilities and the surrounding environment.
