Sekolah Kristen Calvin, a growing educational institution, is seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Music Teacher for the Playgroup and Kindergarten levels. We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Music who has a genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young children.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music programs for Playgroup and Kindergarten students.
- Develop students' musical abilities through singing, playing musical instruments, music appreciation, and creative musical expression
- Foster a joyful learning environment where students can develop their musical talents, creativity, discipline, and self-confidence
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to support school activities, including concerts, performances, chapel services, and other school events
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music, or a related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.00 scale
- Able to apply effective teaching methods and educational technology for early childhood learners
- Able to design innovative and engaging music activities for young children
- Maximum age of 30 years
Nice to have
- Prior teaching experience at the elementary school level is preferred
- Proficient in playing more than one musical instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, recorder, or other instruments)
