What does it feel like to see an aircraft up close, sit inside a cockpit, and even hear the sound of a helicopter in action?👀✨
On July 30, the students of TK Kristen Calvin had the opportunity to visit the Directorate of Air Police. During the visit, they explored various types of aircraft and helicopters parked in the hangar. The children also learned about the differences between helicopters and airplanes and observed firsthand how both types of aircraft are used.
Not only did they get to observe the aircraft, but the children also had the opportunity to sit inside the cockpit and imagine what it would be like to become a pilot! 👨✈️👩✈️
The excitement grew even more when the sound of a helicopter in operation filled the air. This experience gave the children an opportunity to learn through firsthand observation and to see that behind the aircraft and helicopters they admire lies an important mission to serve and help the community.
The Air Police carry out a variety of important roles, from conducting aerial patrols and assisting with disaster evacuations to delivering essential supplies to areas that are difficult to reach.

That day, the children not only got to see airplanes and helicopters up close, but also brought home new experiences, new knowledge, and perhaps… a new dream for the future.✨
