The 59 students of SMPK Calvin’s 18th cohort went on an educational trip to Bandung from April 22–24, 2026. Accompanied by seven teachers, the students took part in a learning journey that broadened their perspectives across various fields, from painting, sculpture, and music to the history of Indonesia’s struggle for independence and the aircraft manufacturing industry in Indonesia.
During the educational trip, the students visited various educational destinations, including Komunitas Hong, Puspa Iptek Sundial, Taman Hutan Raya Ir. H. Djuanda, Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, Saung Angklung Udjo, NuArt Sculpture Park, and PT Dirgantara Indonesia. They also experienced the atmosphere of Bandung more closely through a visit to the Braga area, known as the “Malioboro of Bandung,” and enjoyed the natural beauty of Lembang while spending time together at Warung Kopi Gunung.
Through this experience, the students not only learned firsthand from the various places they visited, but also learned to live together, build meaningful bonds, and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation with their classmates throughout the three-day, two-night journey.
We give thanks to God for this joyful educational trip, filled with meaningful and memorable moments. May every experience the students gained become a foundation for them to continue growing in knowledge, character, and faith.
Soli Deo Gloria
