School Orientation Program (MPLS) For new students for the 2026–2027 academic year, the program was held from July 8–10, 2026, as an initial step toward becoming familiar with life and the learning culture at SMP Kristen Calvin.
The program began with an opening worship service as a reminder that every learning journey should be centered on God. Throughout the three-day program, the students took part in various sessions, including an introduction to the school’s vision, learning practices such as note-taking and reflective writing, the wise use of AI, time management, communication and social etiquette, as well as activities that fostered togetherness with teachers, student council (OSIS) leaders, and new classmates.
Through the MPLS program, the students were equipped to begin their learning journey with greater readiness, become familiar with their school environment, and grow into individuals who continue to develop their God-given potential in pursuit of His calling for their lives.
